Maxine's cupcakes

These cupcakes and cake were for a woman named Maxine, who was throwing herself a 39 Forever, Forever 39 party. In actuality, it was her 75th birthday. Anyway, I heard it looked beautiful and was a lot of fun.

Here they are all together

Here is the sleigh. Yes, I know it doesn't look that much like one, but I tried.

I think this was the most frequent design, as it was the easiest.

The lighthouse. I was pretty happy with how this turned out.

The paddlewheel of a Paddleboat.

Hot Air balloon. This, the lighthouse, the 39's, and the helm turned out the best.

Globe.

The helm of a Paddleboat. For some reason, when I said paddlewheel, this is what Maxine thought of, so I did some. No coloring too, I just made chocolate buttercream.

The Centerpiece. It was the combination of two cakes, the Standing Ovation, and the Can't Contain Our Excitement! I could only get a picture of the one it looks the most like. It was supposed to have streamers coming off also, but the fondant didn't cooperate, and I didn't give it enough time to dry.

Well, better luck next time!

Cool looking cupcakes I must say. I wish I could have eaten one! You might want to go look at your captions though... I had a nice chuckle trying to figure out which caption actually went with which picture. ;D

Yeah, the way they put up the pics when I was loading them was misleading, and I don't feel like fixing it.

And only the Cherry ones tasted any good. The others I made too early and they were kinda dry.
